Biography

Rubén Riera:

Biologist graduated from VCU in 1982 with a background in marine ecology, worked in natural coastal marine area, devoted many years to poteriormente Tourism and e-marketing.

In 2007 I started as a craftsman, exploring different areas, focusing primarily on experience I investigate glass and resin, with the intention of improving the visual quality and expressive of my glass mosaics.

Today I Sculpture and Jewellery courses for the same purpose, new techniques and materials to the job I want to offer in this constant search for fusing difrentes elements: glass, resin, wood, clay and metal, still investigating, trying, experimenting to show my vision of my surroundings, my experiences, my country, my people and especially my feelings and feelings of people ...
